The virtual happy hour event will provide an open and compassionate forum for talking about what’s happening in our world and why – and what we can do within ourselves and in our communities to uphold, protect, and honor the value of Black lives.
This event is a safe space to bring questions and share ideas. It’s ok if you are new to anti-racism. It’s ok if you don’t know what anti-racism is! Please note that while we may discuss issues pertinent to the Black experience in the U.S., we will not discuss political personalities. This event is a forum for learning and practicing anti-racism. It is not partisan.
This event is organized by outgoing President Katie Adams Farrell, who is a White cis woman.
